Royal Perth Hospital has about 5000 staff members (Full Time Equivalent) and is a leading teaching and research facility.  With about 73,000 inpatient treatments a year, 225,000 outpatient attendances, there is always something happening.

The RPH Public Relations Department creates a monthly newsletter, Servio News, which aims to inform staff and patients of the events and changes around the Hospital.

The PR staff members also liaise regularly with media in an attempt to tell the local, national and international community about the great things happening at RPH.

There is always something new to talk about but regular events in the RPH calendar include Long Service and Outstanding Service awards, Young Investigators Day, the annual Nursing Awards, International Nurses Day, NAIDOC (National Aboriginal & Islander Day of Celebration) Week.
