Plasmodium vivax?

Sorry!  Try again.

The infected red cell may appear to be slightly enlarged, however this often occurs towards the tail of the film.  This parasite exhibits a particular distinctive feature.

If necessary go back to the Teach section and review the salient features.  Take another look and note particularly the size of the ring form compared with the infected red cell.
