Plasmodium falciparum?

Correct!  Good work.

This is a slightly immature gametocyte and as you correctly identified from the crescent, if somewhat squat shape, it is a P. falciparum gametocyte.

Sorry!  Take another look.

There is a rather distinctive parasite in the centre of the field.  Have another look noting particularly the shape.  If necessary go back to the images in the Diagnosis section to refresh your memory.
