Plasmodium falciparum?

Sorry!  Have another attempt.

Even though the infected red cells do not appear to be enlarged, have another look and note the shape of these infected red cells, together with the thickness of the parasite rings.

Plasmodium ovale?

Correct!  Very well done.

Even though the infected red cells were not enlarged, you obviously noted the typical fimbriated edge of these infected cells.  Did you also have a good look at the thickness of the parasite rings?
