Plasmodium falciparum?

Sorry!  Have another look.

You obviously noted that the infected red cells were
not enlarged.  However the parasites are tending
towards amoeboid (some almost band form).

Have another look and try again.

Plasmodium vivax?

Sorry!  Have another look.

Note that the parasitised red cells are not enlarged.
Two of the three parasites in this field are showing
definite amoeboid tendencies (almost band forms).

Well done!! Not a particularly easy case, but many aren't!!

Did you note that the red cells were NOT enlarged and that two of the
three parasites in this field were tending towards being band forms?
