Royal Perth Hospital Library

RPH staff have access to a print collection comprising approximately 12,000 books and 600 periodical titles.  They also have access to 170 ebooks, 2000 ejournals and databases including UpToDate, Medline, Embase, CINAHL, PsycINFO, Joanna Briggs and the Cochrane Library.

Services

Services offered include reference services, literature searches, interlibrary loans, current awareness alerting services, loans, and purchasing of library materials for departments.  Computers to access the Internet and Microsoft Office applications are available in the library, as well as a photocopier and paging phones.

User Education

Library staff offer instruction in information retrieval and database searching, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups, by appointment.

Membership

Membership of the Library is free to all staff of the hospital and to tertiary students while they are based at the hospital.
