In the operating suite, you will be prepared for anaesthesia. General
anaesthesia may be commenced by placing a plastic tube ("drip") in a vein and then injecting fast-acting
medication through it.
Some patients prefer to breathe an anaesthetic gas to start anaesthesia. |
