Shenton Park Campus Operating Theatres

Royal Perth Hospital Shenton Park Campus Operating Theatres is a small unit of three operating theatres specialising in elective orthopaedics.

A large portion of the procedures performed are total knee and total hip replacements, along with arthroscopic surgery and procedures related to sporting injuries, such as knee reconstructions and shoulder repairs.

The unit also performs a variety of spinal surgery, including scoliosis surgery for adolescents.

In addition, this unit also provides a service for urological and plastic procedures to support the patients from the Shenton Park spinal unit.

Though only a small team, close comradeship allows the staff to achieve high standards of patient care.
