Patient referrals for assessment and management of any type of immunological disorder are accepted but all consultants are expert in particular aspects of Clinical Immunology. Morning out-patient clinics are held in conjunction with Infectious Diseases Clinics. <br><br> Prof Martyn French specialises in: <br> <ul type="square" class="normal"> <li> Acquired and primary immunodeficiency diseases in adults <li> Infectious disease immunology <li> Autoimmune disease and vasculitis <li> Immunosuppressant and immunomodulatory therapies </li> </ul> <br><p class="main"> Dr Patricia Martinez specialises in:<br> <ul type="square" class="normal"> <li> Autoimmune diseases <li> Allergy <li> Acquired immunodeficiency <li> Primary immunodeficiency in adults </li> </ul> <br><p class="main"> Prof Simon Mallal/Dr Mina John/Dr David Nolan specialise in:<br> <ul type="square" class="normal"> <li> Acquired immunodeficiency <li> Drug hypersensitivity <li> Allergy <li> Autoimmune diseases </li> </ul> <br> <p class="main"> Prof Frank Christiansen specialises in transplantation immunology <br><br> <strong>In-patients</strong> <br><br> In-patients are managed in the Immunodeficiency Unit (10th Floor of A Block). The Departments of Clinical Immunology, Dermatology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology and the Sexual Health Clinic share in-patient facilities and/or a Resident Medical Officer, which facilitates interactions and cross-referrals between departments. <br><br> <strong>Day-case patients </strong> <br><br> Day-case patients are managed in the Medical Specialties Day Ward (Ward 6B).
