Thank you to Royal Perth Hospital staff

April 28, 2014

The Commissioner of the Department of Corrective Services, James McMahon, visited Royal Perth Hospital recently to thank staff for the excellent work they do caring for patients from correctional facilities.

“I was impressed by the professionalism and dedication of staff at the hospital and want to thank them for their work with prisoners,” Mr McMahon said.

The Commissioner was taken on a tour of some of the hospital wards that prisoners visit, as well as a walk-through of the Goderich Street custodial suite.

“It is important for Corrective Services to work closely with the Hospital to achieve positive outcomes for those on the margins of society,” Mr McMahon said.
